Challenge
The UKs largest Wealth Manager were looking to create a better client experience for managing customers wealth. Providing investment insights and updates to clients, in real time through a mobile application.
The mobile app aimed to reduce the cost to serve by rationalising the traditional client touchpoints and creating a scalable support function integrating existing data and third parties through APIs to help clients better manage their money today, for their lives tomorrow.
My Role
Joined the program as a Product manager guiding a cross functional team through a series of Sprints.
We were focused on delivering the main investment screen and detailed portfolio screens for the ‘next generation client experience’.
Supporting the mobilisation of the programme, designing the ways of working to enable close collaboration between Design and Delivery.
I managed the completion of a series of proof of concepts, validating the chosen tech stack to provide the desired user experience.
Outcomes
The app provides a new experience for the Wealth Managers clients, providing an easier way to receive investment updates, get support and manage their portfolio.
The app was built using Salesforce Mobile Experience cloud exposing data held within Snowflake.
A target operating model was developed in conjunction with the app to optimise continual business support and improvement of the clients digital proposition.
